Rachel and I had a blast at the sale today. Hamilton United Methodist Church made us feel most welcome and we had a great time meeting everyone and getting our name out there.
It was a great experience and we will be looking for more events to join up with, so we can keep meeting everyone and spreading the handmade joy.
We just wanted to thank everyone who came out and stopped by to say hello and see what we have to offer.
Please stay tuned to this spot on the internet, we'll be revamping the site, adding some of Rachel's wonderful creations (she makes hair bows, candles and soaps) to my crochet and sewn items. In the meantime, show us some love! If you met us at the fair today, leave us a message!

Not too long ago, my hubby and I got to go out and enjoy ourselves at one of the local honky tonks with our friends Rachel and Travis. I know you've heard me talk about them before. They really are great friends, and I am really grateful to have them around!
Anyway, I thought You guys would like to see a few of the pics we got that night. So there it is!
Now, for some exciting news from the world of Uglee Little Things! Next month, I will have a booth at a local craft fair being sponsored by the Hamilton United Methodist Church. It's for a great cause, and the Second Harvest food bank will be there as well. The fair will be from 8am until 2pm on the 18th of May. I'm going to be inside, just in case the weather decides to be weird!
As it stands, I am very busy counting stock and getting it all tagged and priced, while making new things! I'm branching out into sewing, but please don't expect highly constructed things from me . . . yet. I will get there I promise! I am super excited about adding a sewn line to the shop, as well as adding some wonderful jewelry, but more on that later!
Now, I have to get back to work! Gotta make sure I'm ready!
I am also working on a couple of tutorials, so stay tuned for those!
MWAH!
Michele
So, this came for yours truly today, my Uglee Little Things booth banner. *deep breath*
It's all coming true. I'm taking ULT out into the real world (it's been on the internet for a while, and I've had LOTS of custom orders, so it's been in the real world, but y'all know what I mean!) And I'll be honest, it makes me nervous and excited and it worries me and makes me happy. In short, I'm nothing but a bundle of nerves right now.
However, I do have a bunch of great people cheering me on, so I'm not quite a nervous as I could be. Danny, Daddy, Mama Carol, Ma Dorothy, Beth, Tyler, everyone who has ever bought anything from me:
I LOVE Y'ALL MORE THAN YOU KNOW! Thank you all so very much for believing in me and knowing before I ever did that I can do this!
Michele
All the yarny goodness I was immersed in last week! Everything is done & the stitch lock is drying on everything, so in the next day or so I'll be getting some pictures taken & put up! Stay tuned for those!
I spent my morning figuring out how to crochet a flat sugar skull for a custom headband for Robbie. She's a sparkly kinda girl, so I feel the need to jazz this up some.
What do y'all think?
It has been forever since I posted anything new or listed anything new in the shop, I know. But once again, life has gotten in the way! LOL
I do promise, however, that I have been working on new things and some old things in new colours. As well as fitting in family life and dealing with my fibromyalgia! So, here we go!
